「読む映画」にするために
Mother Warsは、「小説」ではなく私の脳内スクリーンに描かれる「映画」の世界を文字にしたものです。
これから私の小説は「読む映画」として楽しんでいただきたく、個人的にできる限りの映像を紹介していきたいと思っております。
Mother Warsの世界観を伝えるティザー予告として実際の映像を断片的な映像としてご紹介いたします。
また完全な予告編も制作は進んでおり、近々ご紹介できると思います。
MotherWarsはSF映画でありながら母と子の愛と絆を描いた作品です。できれば多くの子供達に見ていただきたい作品です。しかし多くのメディアが存在する中、「書籍」という媒体はほんの限られた人々にしか見てもらえません。特に子供たちは、テレビやサブスク動画など映像（動画）として多くのコンテンツを見ることが多くなり、本を読むことが少なくなっているのではないでしょうか。
恥ずかしながら高齢の私でさえ「本」はほとんど読まなくなりました。だからできれば映像作品として、このMother Warsも作りたかった…。でも映画なんて一個人に作れるものではありません。
しかし昨今の「生成AI技術」がその夢を少しだけ叶えてくれるんです。脳内スクリーンのキャラクターたちが現実の世界に降りてきてくれるんです。しかし彼らの命は、ほんの数秒しかありません。映画本編を作ることなど到底敵いません。
そこで私がとった行動は、ストーリーは小説として残し、その世界観をできる限り映像（動画）として再現したいと考えました。
また映画でお馴染みのティザー予告や完全予告編など、短い時間で短いカットを繋いで作れるので、その世界観を伝える上で大きな力になると思いました。
本編にも各章の挿絵としてその章の世界観を伝える画像が入っていますが、それらはあくまで静止画であり動きません。
だから「読む映画」として小説を読むこと、プラス各種ティザー予告や完全予告編などで、映画の世界観を感じながら小説を読んでいただく、全く新しいコンセプトで「読む映画」を企画させていただきました。
To Make It a “Cinema Book”
Mother Wars is not just a “novel.”
It is a cinematic world projected on the screen inside my mind, translated into words.
From now on, I would like my work to be enjoyed as a “Cinema Book” — a story experienced through both text and moving images.
As a first step, I am creating short teaser footage to convey the atmosphere of Mother Wars.
A full trailer is also in production and will be released soon.
Although Mother Wars is a sci-fi epic, at its heart it is a story of love and the bond between mother and child. I especially hope many children will one day experience it. Yet, in today’s media-saturated world, books often reach only a limited audience.
Even I, at my age, hardly read books anymore. That is why I once dreamed of making Mother Wars into a film. Of course, a full movie is far beyond the reach of one individual.
But with today’s advances in generative AI, fragments of that dream can take shape. The characters from my mind step briefly into reality — even if only for a few fleeting seconds.
That is why I chose to leave the story in novel form, while recreating its world through moving images: teasers, trailers, and short cinematic cuts that capture its spirit.
By combining the written story with these visual previews, Mother Wars becomes something new — not just a book, but truly a “Cinema Book”
