MotherWarsの予告編が完成。Youtubeにて配信開始。少しでも多くの人に見てもらおうと気張ってサムネを作ったのですが、Youtubeの文字も被るので、ごちゃごちゃして見にくくなってしまいました。次回は文字少なめにします。
またこの予告編はPart.1です。物語の半分程度の予告編です。Part.2も企画中。縦映像のYoutube Shortになるかもしれません。
でも本物の映画の予告編じゃないんです。「Cinema Book（読む映画）」の予告編なんです。
「ただの小説の予告編でしょ！」って言われると耳が痛いですが、この予告編や各章の扉画像など多くのビジュアルと合わせて読んでいただくことで普通の小説とは違った映画っぽい没入感を味わえると思っております。
「Cinema Book」を目指すのなら予告編はメインコンテンツ。映画本編があるわけではないので予告編でどれだけ世界観が伝わるかを目指しました。ナレーションは英語オンリー。英語の方が断然カッコいいんです。
「外人訛りの日本語ナレーションなんかいらない。」

The trailer for Mother Wars is finally complete and now available on YouTube.
I worked hard on the thumbnail, hoping to attract as many viewers as possible, but with YouTube’s text overlays it ended up looking a bit cluttered and hard to read. Next time, I’ll keep the text more minimal.
This trailer is Part 1, covering roughly half of the story. Part 2 is already in the works, and it may even be released as a vertical YouTube Short.
But here’s the thing—this is not a trailer for a real movie.
It’s a trailer for a Cinema Book (a “Movie You Read”).
Some people might say, “Isn’t this just a trailer for a novel?” — and yes, that stings a little. But my hope is that, by combining the trailer and the chapter title visuals with the written story, readers will feel a unique, cinematic sense of immersion that goes beyond an ordinary novel.
If I aim to create a true Cinema Book, then the trailer itself has to be one of the main contents. After all, there is no film to follow — the trailer has to carry the world-building on its own.
That’s why the narration is in English only. It simply sounds so much cooler that way.
“No need for awkward, foreign-accented Japanese narration.”
